How to earn money online ?

When you search for this question online, the most common answers you get are-

  1. Blogging.
  2. YouTube.
  3. Dropshipping.
  4. Freelancing.
  5. Online surveys.
  6. Stock trading and investing.

Now, most of the people who write this stuff haven't made much, or anything using these methods.

The problem is these method require a LOT of time and efforts.

Most people looking to make money online are pure lazy. They watch a video on passive income and try to make money from day 1.

 

Blogging.

Blogging requires money. You'll need to buy a domain name, a hosting plan, etc. You'll have to be a good writer and write consistently.

You can just write anything. Plus, there's the technical part. SEO and email marketing. You'll have to spend hundreds of hours learning it and in the first 3 years, you won't make any money.

 

Stock Market.

It is extremely, extremely tough. You're competing with billion dollar hedge funds and professionals. You spend 18 years in school, and expect to make money in stock market in 1 month?

That's not possible.

It took me 3+ years, and countless hours to become profitable. Plus, there's the aspect of risk.

 

 

YouTube.

Ask any YouTuber, he'll say that it's very different. 90% of the people won't upload over 10 videos.

They upload 1 video and expect it to blow up. It took me 1 year and 35+ videos to reach “just” 1000 subs.

Making a video, 10 minute long often takes 3-9 hours. Just make a video and you'll know how hard it actually is.

 

Online Surveys.

This seems like the least difficult task. You can make good money by filling some survey, right?

Not really. Most surveys are SCAMS. You'll spend hours without getting paid, and even if you do get paid, it'll probably be in form of reward points.

Making cold cash from this method is very, very rare. And you'll require hundreds of hours to make a few cents.

It's not passive. And your time is worth spending somewhere else.

 

Freelancing.

We all know that one engineer who quit his job to work as a freelancer and earns lakhs each month.

It seems very attractive. Getting paid in dollars and working from home. But most people don't have any marketable skills.

Can you code an application? Are you a copy writer? Can you edit videos like a professional in premiere pro? Can you create graphics?

Most people have no skills.

The stuff you learn in colleges won't help here. You need proper skills. Skills you can use and create something better than most people.

Ask yourself, If you were to hire a guy with your skillset, would you pay him?

If the answer is no, because your work isn't good or you suck, then you're just ripping people off.

You may get one gig but you won't succeed long term.

Making money online is all about providing VALUE. How can you help someone?

You don't get paid for doing nothing. Create an audience by providing value and then capitalize on that.
